No início da noite deste sábado (06/07), às 18h25, o trem de socorro de Bom Retiro foi acionado para atender um acidente de trânsito na Avenida Major Generoso, no bairro São José. Um veículo VW Saveiro colidiu com um objeto fixo (viaduto).
A passageira do veículo, uma mulher de 30 anos, estava sem cinto de segurança e foi encontrada inconsciente, com ferimentos na face e odor etílico. Populares tentavam mover a vítima, mas a equipe de resgate aplicou um colar cervical e realizou a extração com uma maca rígida, conduzindo-a prontamente ao hospital de Bom Retiro.
O condutor, um homem de 39 anos, estava consciente e orientado, também apresentando odor etílico. Ele foi atendido e conduzido pela USB-05 do SAMU, após solicitação de apoio pela guarnição.
O local do acidente ficou sob os cuidados da Polícia Militar de Bom Retiro.
